Maybe it was my upbringing.
Maybe it was all the reading I did.
Maybe it was just the way God created my mind to work.
Whatever it was, I question…
Is there an easier way to do this?
Is that really necessary?
How does this work?
What did that mean?
And even about motherhood…
What do my children need?
How can I reach their hearts better?
Am I getting this mom thing right?
When it comes right down to it
When it comes right down to it, I need wisdom straight from the heart of God to answer mothering questions. I need God’s wisdom to know what my children need and how to reach their hearts. I need God’s wisdom to know when to say, “Yes” and when to say, “No.” I need God’s wisdom to answer the questions they ask. I need wisdom to handle the day to day, moment to moment decisions, questions, and circumstances.
Oh how thankful I am that God gives his wisdom generously.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” ~James 1:5
Today if you have questions—questions about motherhood, marriage, friendship, struggles, anything—look to God. Ask him for wisdom as you pour out your heart’s questions to him. Then take the time to listen to his answers.

I am so grateful He lets us bring our questions to Him!
Isn’t it wonderful – and exciting that He not only has all the answers….and not only desires to give us the answers and to give us wisdom, but He wants to give it to us liberally!! Generously – even more than we can imagine! I just think that is exciting!
Thanks for sharing. Love that you pointed out ‘take the time to listen to his answers’. #FMF#41
I can definitely relate to the frequent asking of questions and desperately seeking God for wisdom in the moment to moment mothering 🙂
